Ruth Bromund

A Special Lady

For the past three years, Ruth Bromund has done a phenomenal job as Membership V.P. Her friendly smile greeted everyone at meeting after meeting and each pre-sale. Ruth's countless hours attending to detail and her unerring good judgment provided much wisdom to the Board during those years. She will definitely be missed as a Board member, but we're fortunate to have her continue as a dedicated volunteer.

Many thanks for your monumental contributions to the Friends and Platt Branch, Ruth. You're leaving huge shoes to fill!

Memberships expired June 30th. Don't be left out, mail your renewal now.

Thanks to all of you who renewed promptly. For those of you who may not have renewed, please remember this issue of the newsletter is a bonus. A return envelope has been included for your convenience in remitting dues. You must be a current member to be admitted to the November 7th pre-sale and receive future newsletters.

Be a Friend!

Memberships in the Friends of the Platt Library are win-win relationships. Besides providing additional funding for our library, they also give opportunities for new friendships, socializing, and volunteering—as well as community recognition for your support of a worthy cause. If that's not enough incentive, you also get a printed copy of this newsletter in the mail…what an excellent investment!

To become a member, give a membership as a gift, or renew your existing membership, just fill out the form below and click the ‘PRINT’ button. Write a check payable to Friends of the Platt Library and send it along with the printed form to:

Friends of the Platt Library
23600 Victory Boulevard
Woodland Hills, CA 91367

...or bring them to the library in person. Thank you!
