Most '01-'02 memberships expire on June 30th, and some of you have thoughtfully renewed already, thus saving the cost of sending renewal notices.  If you have not done so, please consider renewing now, using the reply envelope mailed with the printed newsletter.

Don't miss the first newsletter and pre-sale - The first private pre-sale will be in August instead of September (another reason to renew early).  To save confusion, we will be sending the August newsletter to members only.

You are needed - The Friends group needs every one of you to continue the current level of support for our fine library.  (Don't you just love the newly upholstered chairs?!  You made them possible.)  With your help, perhaps at a higher level, we can do something wonderful next year, too.  Remember that Life and Sustaining members’ names are put on an attractive bookplate in a beautiful new book each year.

We always need helpers in the book store, at sales, in the library and on the Board.  (As noted in the last issue, my term will soon be up.)  Check the box at bottom left when you fill out your renewal form and join the best group of library volunteers in the city.
