Barnes & Noble has offered the Friends an opportunity to earn cash by gift wrapping its customer’s Christmas gift books. The gift-wrap will be supplied by Barnes & Noble. Customers may donate to the Friends or perhaps be persuaded to become a Friend.
The Wrap will take place at the new Barnes & Noble store in the Woodland Hills Promenade Mall located at 6100 Topanga Canyon Blvd., between Erwin and Oxnard. Dates scheduled are Friday, December 14 and 21, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Of course, we’ll need nimble-fingered volunteers. Those who want to display their best bows, help the library, and have fun with friends can sign up in the Bookstore, or e-mail me.
