Saturday, October 20th
Speaker: Barbara Saltzman
Join us on the afternoon of October 20th for a reading of David Saltzman’s amazing and heart-healing tale of a Jester and his sidekick, Pharley…with a telling of the author’s own amazing story.
Barbara Saltzman had a 30-year career in journalism—including 22 years at The Los Angeles Times, where she edited the daily Calendar and TV Times—before she self-published her son’s acclaimed fantasy-fable posthumously and began carrying The Jester’s hidden joys to schools and libraries nationwide. Ms. Saltzman brings a tale sure to fascinate adults and school age children alike. She’ll also bring books and The Jester & Pharley dolls for sale.
