Thanks to faithful members who renewed, as well as to the bulk mailings last summer and the people who join from time to time, our newsletter now goes to 441 addresses. We expect to increase that number in April with a solicitation mailing to 1000 addresses near the library in the 91307 Zip code.
Your membership does not expire until the end of June ‘07, but it saves stationery and postage costs if you renew now for the coming membership year. You can use the form below, or to keep your newsletter intact, go on line to www.plattlibrary.org and print the form given there. You can also renew using forms available in the Friends Bookstore.
A thank you to Morris Benoun for upgrading to a Life Membership and to Tamar and Matt Beesley for joining at the Sustaining level.
The librarians have finished selecting and ordering this year's books for our Life and Sustaining members. I will send letters notifying you of the book chosen for you as soon as all are in our library's collection.
Welcome and thank you to members who joined after the last newsletter was printed:

Correction: Norman Nussbaum's middle initial was given incorrectly in last issue's New Members list. It should have been “N”. My typing was to blame, and I apologize for the mistake.
Memberships in the Friends of the Platt Library are win-win relationships. Besides providing additional funding for our library, they also give opportunities for new friendships, socializing, and volunteering—as well as community recognition for your support of a worthy cause. If that's not enough incentive, you also get a printed copy of this newsletter in the mail…what an excellent investment!
To become a member, give a membership as a gift, or renew your existing membership, just fill out the form below and click the ‘PRINT’ button. Write a check payable to Friends of the Platt Library and send it along with the printed form to:
