Entertainment Books Report – This fiscal year's sales raised $340 for Platt Branch. We missed our target by only five books! Many, many thanks to Ethel Margolin for the tremendous amount of effort she puts into coordinating this project. And thanks, as well, to the Bookstore volunteers who sold the books and to the members who purchased them.
Getting Ready for the Getty – I'm working on a Special Membership Excursion to the Getty Villa. Watch for details in the June/July/August issue…or call me to sign-on in advance. Seating will be limited to how many people we can get on the bus.
Children's Holiday Boutique – We still need volunteers to help create gift items for kids to buy in December. Come on all you great idea people—give me a call and let's get rolling on putting your ideas to work. 10 months is not all that much time for knitting, crocheting, sewing, cutting, painting, and gluing. Not to mention assembling the crew to do all this. All willing hands are welcome. Contact me today!
